Good Movie Licences
It has to be said movie licences in general make really bad games, but every so often a game comes along that goes against that rule. Name those games that buck the trend.
It has to be said that for me Alien3 was a great game on the SNES, many movie licences stick too rigidly to the premise of the film without realising that films and games are two completely different entities. Alien3 was different as it included game play aspects that were part of the plot of the film – I’m mainly talking about the inclusion guns, that enhanced the gaming experience. The prison was beautifully realised, the Aliens were scary, and the varying missions made the game interesting and worthwhile. The licence complemented a great game in itself, wonderful

i would say The Warriors on the PS2.
it went beyond the film with events leading up to, and including, those in the movie.
mind you, I did like the speccy version of RoboCop.....
......but that could just be me

The Untouchables on C64 was good.
Robocop 3 on Amiga/ST was an early FPS that used the licence well.
Alien Trilogy scared the pants off me on PS1.
