Dont think thats true.

Commando was excellent and up with Bombjack as one of the best conversions.
Paperboy was very good and very playable
Space Harrier was surprisingly good on the Speccy
Bombjack was of course amazing
Ikari Warriors was an excellent 2 player Commando
Ghost n Goblins despite being hard was an excellent conversion
Buggy Boy wasnt bad at all

1942 for me was the worst of their arcade conversions.

Are you honestly saying the only good one was Bombjack ?

It absolutely has to be Double Dragon on the c64 yes it was only Â£1.99 but it was the worst thing ever.

A special mention goes to Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego on the megadrive (which had a stunning review in one mag) The most boring thing I ahve ever played.

It betters it's arcade parent in every possible way.

Believe me, there must be about 5 people (if that) on the this planet that think the same as you. Seriously, people that DON'T rate SC on DC are few and far between.

Can I ask,

Do you speak to someone, on a personal basis....perhaps once a week or more.....in an air conditioned office......who listens to your feelings.....and tries to make sense of your thought process??

A great system, belied by absolutely shocking battery life!!

A Nuon with Tempest 3000. Â£170 to play a game that turned out to be worse than Tempest 2000 in pretty much every regard, and a hefty great machine taking up a load of space under my telly to boot. I think I got about half a day's play for my money, although to be fair it came in handy when I needed to cover the Nuon-only Space Invaders game for next month's Definitive.

One Man & His Droid on the A8. The hugest crap I've ever seen and heared.
Crap gameplay aswell.
Particular the soundtrack could have been a cause for some "smart money indiction".

Nemesis on the spectrum was a real stinker. I was one of the poor unfortunates misled by the Sinclair User review and YS preview which appeared to be based on mocked-up screens and nothing more.

Only the purchase of Head over Heels a few weeks later was able to sooth this monstrous affront to all that is great and beautiful.

ANY sports games I've bought, I haven't enjoyed. I tried to get into the Madden Hype... No Go. Racing? No can do. Basketball/Footy/Hockey... No delight there. You'd think I'd learn NOT to buy them (even if they are shiny and new for Â£2... THERE'S A REASON)

Could I trouble anyone for a re-adjustment slap for my inner voice?

Walked two miles to town up a bloody big hill to get that cause the bus fare went on it!

A really dull, generic shooter almost saved by the music

I found Bombjack II to be very dissapointing on the Speccy after the excellent Bombjack on the same.
