I cant rememvber the name of it but there was a superb 2D giant 1 on 1 robot fighting game on the ST.
You could add / remove various parts of the bobots and add such things as lasers and giant hammer arms.
The control scheme was great with fire button + left for left arm action, fire + right right arm etc, holding down fire and waggling left and right in rythm with 2 hammer arms attached was tops.
I think it might have been infrogammes ?
Edit:
Got it : Metal Masters

There was another ST beat em up that I cant remember the name of.
It was a final fight type of scrolling beat em up but there was no scrolling , or at least you moved from area to area.
all I can really remember was that the colours were very muted greys and it had a distinctly European (if not french) setting, in fact I think my copy was in French..
this is all very cloudy so if anyone can jog my memory please do.

IK+ is a must for both systems but if you have an amiga then I would strongly suggest buying/downloading a fighter called Shadow Fighter. It really put's all other traditonal fighting games on that system to shame, I have the amiga cd32 version and it rocks. The character design is espeicaly good because it avoids all the fighting game traits while having a very manga theme to it, some of the charatcers this is espeicaly evident.

That'd be Karate Kid II. Excellent animation, but the characters were very small.DADDYCOOL wrote:Anyone remember the Karate Kid game on ST/Amiga?.
Ok so its not as good as IK+ but you could catch a fly with chopsticks as a bonus round.
