Megadrive game good for kids

Hi all.
Just bought myself a megadrive that has some games with it.
Any suggestions please on games that would suit my 5 year old boy? So guessing the so called easier ones to get him used to it.

I loved the disney games as a kid so I'd recommend those, or at least the good ones:
Illusion games
Quackshot
Aladdin
Lion King
Jungle Book
Mickey Mania
The Great Circus Mystery/Magical Quest 2
Pocahontas

Chiki Chiki Boys, Batman and Sonic 3 might also be doable. Other than that, maybe Gunstar Heroes or Bonanza Bros on easy could work if you play together.

Wonder Boy in Monster World is pretty easy up until the finale, I guess you could help him out there. Same with Tiny Toons' Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure.

Those games are hard, the level with the Monkeys in Lion king is the reason why it never gets tuck out at events

Thanks for the replies.
Yes he is interested.We got sonic 1 and 2 with it and he seems to enjoy Sonic 2 more but early impressions he is interested and wants to play which is good news.Limiting his time on it but will get some more games.
Actually got a global gladiators with it also which he seems to enjoy also.

Shadow Dancer and Streets of Rage 2 two of the greatest Megadrive games ever early levels are easy

Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion and Mickey & Donald World of Illusion very easy but look and sound amazing

Kabuki Fighter It’s really really easy and you swing people around by their legs

Yeah those can be tricky, though I did beat MM when I was like 9 or 10.

Great age to get started on the retro scene!

Quite a few Mega Drive games would be suitable for that age...

These games, while perhaps tricky for a five year old, are great fun and have little to no violence, and any violence they do have is only comical!

Pretty much all of the Disney library on it is good, despite the image they tried to protray with the Megadrive back in the 90's alot of it's catalouge is still very family friendly, just obviously avoid stuff like Mortal Kombat.
One of the joys of the Megadrive is it's pretty easy to emulate so you can safely check most games are suitable before purchase.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
Have picked up Mickey Castle of Illusion ,James Pond 2 , columns and micro machines to go along with the original 3 we had.
Will see how we go and then hopefully get somemore. Even if they are for me as loving playing them myself.
