The KFConsole has arrived. Forged from the fires of the KFC ovens and built by Cooler Master from the ground up, there has never been a tastier way to experience the latest titles in stunning 4k, 240fps.

Personally, I wouldn't want greasy fried chicken anywhere near my gaming hardware

It's obviously just a publicity stunt.
It's a pretty successful one too, given how the media have picked up on it.
The only novel element is the case where, in lieu of a conventional cooling solution, they've given it a chicken warmer to dump the excess heat into.
The underlying hardware seems to be the NUC 9 Extreme Compute Element which is designed for blade severs but also makes for a single board gaming PC if paired with a suitable GPU.
It's nice but pricey; if they actually produce this thing expect be paying over a grand for a complete system. You can already buy equivalent systems from Intel and Razer for similar prices.

I'm... confused.

I have questions
The first of which being, 'KFCONSOLE' is it a KF Console, or a KFC Onsole?

I'll try again, but the TL;DR is that it's just a case for a new form factor of PC.
You can see the concept explained rather less cryptically on this page for the Razer Tomahawk:

But the KFC one has fried chicken................
It will also end up running very hot
I like small form factor PCs, hate the idea of having a large boxy thing for games.

Yeah, it'll run hot, but nobody wants their fried chicken to go cold so they're turning a bug into a feature.
As small form factor PCs go, the NUC is the comparative Rolls Royce and I've used them a fair bit for work. They're not cheap, and they do tend to run hot and throttle when you really thrash them, but they'll do 99% of what a high-end tower PC can in a console-sized package.
The KFC one just won't be that small with the addition of the chicken chamber on top. Ah well, I'm sure they were always going for the meme value.

I saw that on a few of the News pages, it's fully functional but the heat will kill the PC eventually if the KFC hasn't killed you first.
