I am wondering if I should buy a PS3 or save money to buy a PS4?

PS4.

Nearly every good game on the PS3, you can get for the PC. Besides Demon Souls and a few others.

PS3. It's cheap as chips, as are the games :D

Depends what games you want. If they're on PS3, go PS3, if they're on PS4 and there's more coming for PS4 you want, buy PS4.

I would personally buy a PS4 as most of the PS3 games have been rereleased on PS4 as HD remasters complete with all dlc extras. Or available in sales very cheaply

PS3 consoles are notoriously bad for breaking down

Early PS3s are bad for breaking down. Later iterations are still good.

I'm the wrong man to ask, as the only current gen system I have is the Switch. PS360 still both look great to me.

Buy a cheap PS3 now, and save up to snag a PS4 next year. Once the PS5 release date is announced, expect a price drop for PS4 hardware.

PS3 then save for a PS5 which will play everything according to rumours. At minimum PS4 stuff.

Base it on your gaming budget, PS3 games can be found for a quid in some places where as PS4 rarely drops sub 10 unless its really old 2nd hand stuff.
A PS3 unit is dirt cheap now too, same as the 360 but you need to pick the right model, PS4 won't be cheap until it's replacement has been out a while.
