Hello all,
I saw that a Dutch historical archive archived a Commodore 64 game. It's the game 'Rollerboard' (they got disk and cassette) they got from Joost Honig (he made the game in 1987), also founder of the '1001 Crew', a hacker group from the Netherlands in the eighties. They were the first to use de C64 in full screen modus. Zzap 64 feature a article on them in 1986. C64.com has an interview with Joost: http://www.c64.com/scene_display_interv ... erview=138

Have you played the game or do you know the 1001 Crew? The archive (Regional Archive Alkmaar) also lets you download the game from their site https://www.regionaalarchiefalkmaar.nl/games. (Dutch site)

Another great thing is that the archive received all to letters from Joost Honig he received from other hackers back in the day.
Almost 200 of them can be found on the Flickr page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/archiefal ... 9140566688

Do you know of any other archives that actively archive and share Commodore 64 of other games?

Rollerboard sure brings back some memories!
Back in the late Nineties I decided to collect every available C64-rom for my C64S emulator in MS DOS.
What immediately striked me was how rock-hard to play this KikStart is. Oh, and the music of course which is just magic.
