Found my GBA SP hidden away in a box - had forgotten what a good little machine it is. Immediately lost a weekend to Super Mario and playing through Zelda again.

Now starting to comb eBay as always wanted to have a go at the Castlevania games. Is there one in particular that people would recommend?
The GBA ones are all fairly good although a lot are bootlegs or quite pricey, they are the usual Metroidvania style carried on from Symphony of the Night, the original also was rereleased on the Nes/Famicom classics label, the GB versions however are a little weak, the first being just 4 levels long despite the carts being big enough to effectively hold a full length game, theres also a fun spin off called Kid Dracula but that is quite rare and always painfuly expensive.

Pokemon Sapphire & Ruby for sure. They're the best OG Pokemon games aside from the original 3 ^^

All the Castlevania games on the GBA are fantastic. Same with the Metroid's.
