To be fair i dont have the best PC in the world and i also tend to play most of my (older) PC games on this...

But for $1 you might as well get it so you'll have it when you have a better PC at some point ? I prefer playing the 'older' games on my PC or like most of these Sonic games the not so intensive huge installation type games !

Unless your PC is over a decade old or broken, you might do better than you think as all the games in the $1 tier have very low system requirements.

Even above that, there are only four games that need something resembling a decent PC. All Stars Transformed, Lost World and Generations would all want a dual core CPU and you'd start having to pay attention to the graphics card, while Forces is the only one that needs a machine that's truly modern. Still, none of those are essential and Forces is the weaker one of the newest games to put it mildly.

Sonic Mania has one potentially tricky requirement, in that it needs Windows 7 or newer but otherwise it's in Potato PC territory, only needing a Pentium 4, 1GB RAM and a 32MB graphics card.

Funny you shpuld say that, it's 11 years old and I have to selotape the power lead in so it doesn't switch itself off when I'm using it.  a bit like the ZX81s wobbly RAM packs.

I use my phone & tablet for pretty much everything I used to use a PC for so I've never really seen the need to get a new desktop or laptop.

Crackin offer though & good plan about just buying the bundle anyway in case I do upgrade at some point, I'll just do that.

You can get a pretty decent gaming PC for around 500 bucks tbh:

You could also go for a "extreme budget" one for around 300 bucks, but in that case you have to keep in mind you'll be running demanding games on lower settings and resolution.

As for gaming laptops - they're affordable too, but you'll have to keep in mind that it will perform worse than a similar priced desktop.

Though, something like this certainly isn't shabby.
