My only real bugbear is that it enforces use of the analogue stick for movement. Since there's no analogue control of the character, it seems odd they didn't also map to the dpad. I know I'd prefer that for digital movement, it isn't quite so woolly as the anaolgue stick when you want to nudge over then go up a ladder.

As an enhanced port of the original, it's good. There's still some room for improvement with the new game, perhaps adding more button controls for combat etc so it isn't so restricted. Its hard to grumble about how this one has been handled though.
Having completed it today (it was 94p on the Switch, and I had free Gold Coins to get it for nothing anyway), these are the only down points to the game I can see. Analogue stick only is a baffling choice, and leaving jump on Up when there's a separate jump button is silly especially for ladders and the way you can nudge Up by mistake.

Music and sound were great additions. The extra game after the main game reminded me of Donkey Kong on the Game Boy. I've read a lot of forum posts slating the £5-6 price point saying "it's just the original game" whereas it really isn't - it's much bigger and more varied. I was always going to buy it but not realising - like those people hadn't either - that it was so much longer I decided to wait for a sale. Had it been more well known I'd have purchased as soon as it came out!

Anyway, it's brilliant. Feels just like what it is, really - the original game but more.
