What System would you like a 'Classic' console for?

Post by GarryG » Sat Sep 22, 2018 5:17 pm

So we have got the Vega, and now a PlayStation, and various other Sega, Nintendo, and Atari (amongst others) 'Classic' systems bundles with X number of bundled games out there.

But what systems would you like to see done?

I'd love to see ether a Vecterx one with a proper vector screen, or a Japanese PC-88/PC-98 ,FM Towns, and X68000 based consoles.

A mini Sega Saturn with Shinobi X, Burning Rangers, Deep Fear and Shining Force would be a day 1 purchase. I would say Elevator Action but it’s a jap only game.

Knowing Sega it would be Sega Rally, Virtual Fighter and the same Megadrive games that appear on every other collection

A 3d0 mini would be another interesting choice

N64, Saturn, Dreamcast (Hell, any excuse to rerelease Skies of Arcadia again. ), and the Turbografx/PC Engine.

Bit of a long shot for the SEGA systems (If its not Mega Drive, they won't see any point.) and TG, but it all would be nice.

A Mini-Dreamcast would be perfect.

Sega has a very special place in my heart so Id be happy with any of their consoles. I have an interest in Commodores too though...A mini Amiga would also be very interesting.

N64, Dreamcast and Gameboy Advance, the GBA could play the older Gameboy game too.

Right now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for a 64 announcement. Some sort of all in one GameBoy system would also be pretty cool though.

The only one I want is Mini N64. Pilotwings, Waverace, Mario 64, Mario Kart, Blast Corps, Orcarina and Majora plus another dozen or so classics? Yes please. In fact the N64 only has about two dozen really great games, with many of the rest being stinkers, so if they include the best 20-25 Nintendo and Rare games there won't even be a need to mod it.

You can get SMS ones in Brazil, so surprised they haven't brought one over.

Well we've had the C64 and I'm pretty sure the Amiga is next 🤐

Saturn all day long. Fill it with the games that are stupidly expensive and rare and I would be there day one.

A 3DO one full of fantastically crappy FMV games would also be ace though I'd probably be the only one why buys it! Plumbers Don't Wear Ties needs a re-release...

Even if the Saturn only had Panzer Saga on it I would buy it.

A Vectrex would be amazing!

Other than that I'd quite like an Atari Jaguar, Atari Lynx and a Gamecube with additional Gameboy Player content.

Back to the subject matter though and I would love to see a PC Engine Mini, especially as it wouldn't actually have to be any smaller
