Serious sports games. The fun censored takey ones are alright but rubbish like FIFA and Madden etc I cannot stand.
Re: Games genres that you just don't like
yeah good call that, I love sports video games but not the 'serious' ones, its just painful.

Racing 'simulations'. Suck all the fun out of gaming in the name of 'realism'. There will never be a realistic racing game thats controlled by a gamepad or keyboard (or even come to that a plastic wheel)

never been a massive fan of 1st person shooters, though I did enjoy Halo 3 lost many hours online but apart from that never got into them at all

Only replace the clunky screens with a VR headset and headphones and you're basically "there".

FPS (liked Doom though), RPGs, Open world style GTA etc.
Also dislike any sports sim, inc. driving. Like arcade takes on sports and driving though.
To be honest - anything with a narrative tends to put me off. Anything that requires me to keep playing to prevent me forgetting what I am supposed to do after breaking for a week is a turn off. No matter how good these games are I just lose interest.

^ My biggest gripe with FFXIV is pretty much that, any time I come back to it after a break it takes me a while to remember what the hell I was doing

Never got massively into one on one fighters. Okay for a bit of two player fun, but much prefer scroller beat em ups like Streets of rage

RTS - I just lack the patience
Fighting Games - I never learn how to play them properly. My attempts to play the last Street Fighter were just woeful.
RPGs - i do love RPGs but i've never come close to finishing a turn based RPG. It's the incessant need to grind that sucks all the joy out of them for me. A real shame as there are some out there with such beautiful settings and atmosphere. I prefer the Zelda approach in that if you've got that far, you have the means to beat that section without having to spend a week doing the same thing over and over again first.

Any sports game, EA games are the spawn of the devils trumpet. Like Pool Gal and Wrestlefest which I guess come under sport
Any GTA game that is isn’t Saints Row 3. I played one GTA game with Brucey and rag man (nobody could understand him when he spoke). Like an episode of stop that pigeon with ‘censored Dasterdly’ saying “What dee say, what dee say” apart from everybody said it when bad man/rag man spple.
Enjoyed beating random people, until I got kicked in the plums & killed by some random woman I attacked. Got to Brucey & quit, Charisma vacuum David Brent was final nail in coffin. Sold online same day for more then I payed for it.
Loved Red Dead and Max Payne hated what Rockstar did to them, ruined Max Payne
COD never played it I know a few people who stay up all night playing multiplayer

Don't like FPS games with very few exceptions - Black on the PS2 was pretty good.
Football / sports games on any console , yes even sensible soccer. I hate football so that would never be a winner and the yearly snorefest updates that result in floods of previous years games at 5p in game shops. Piffle.
'Typical' RPG games Final Fantasy etc - Some odd exceptions in there like Shining Force , Grandia , Popolocrois.
Sims type games - including Sims ,Harvest Moon and many more that require time living a digital life instead of a real one.
I do like games , honest!

I don't like RPG games.
I had Final Fantasy XVII on the PC a long time ago and it seemed like every step I took in the game started a battle. Put me off for life

- Sport sims. I'd like to excuse my love of sensible soccer, and Brutal Sports.
- Whatever happened to RPG's after Final Fantasy 9. Cute JPRG's are fine, the newer ones suck.
- Multiplayer Online Games. I'm just not very sociable.
