I would say "You can get a Super Everdrive for less"

But looking at it, a lot of the games on the mini dont work on that or the SD2SNES

I think ill wait a few months till a Chinese knock off comes out with 100+ SNES games on

I had the same problem with the last round of amiibo, they just sold out way too fast for me. not sure if I will get the mini snes, I didn't get the mini nes either. if they just had reasonable stock levels and a guarantee they would restock then I would say fine, I will buy it when I have the money. but it's not always convenient to have to pay for this stuff at a specific time within a window of opportunity. sometimes I just don't have the money to spare!

The only way to stop the scalpers is to flood the market

All of a sudden heres a million of them and weekly restocks
They will still try to scalp them, but only the idiots will pay way over the odds

WAIT A MIN!!
Its a Official NINTENDO branded product
THEY WILL ALREADY OVERPAY!!

Maybe if you go to your local brick and mortar Game Store tomorrow they might have some preorders. I do remember mine offering NES Mini preorders last year.
£7 and a hour and half round trip to my nearest game, couldn't be bothered.

Was going to ring them but sorted on Smyths now. :D

I don't think it's even up on Amazon yet - I can't find the product page despite reports that they've apparently sold out. I'm not sure I believe that.
It did go on Amazon but they removed it once sold out. If you search via Google you can still view the page, just not on Amazon itself.

Well I tried a few websites last night and today but got nowhere. Thanks Nintendo, you just saved me £80 with your bizarre business plan.

If a group of people on a dedicated retro gaming forum can't get one, then.... pah!

Message to Nintendo.. Please release enough mini SNES to satisfy demand. It's not that difficult and many are people who have supported you through good times and bad.
They've already said that production won't continue into next year so it seems that they've learnt sweet FA from the NES Mini fiasco. Your best bet in seeing one will be when CeX has one in their window for £200.
I dont think its a case of them messing up; they know they would likely sell as many as they could produce. Its a case of getting people into a frenzy for a 'must have' peripheral. Of course many of those at the front of the queue are buying just to make a quick buck on selling them, and for some reason Nintendo really dont seem to care. And I can't figure out why.

If the same happens with stock as occurred withe tbe mini Nes, Nintendo will really go down in my estimations; not that they are limely to care.

Managed to pre-order one on ShopTo. Will still keep an eye out on other sites as I haven't used ShopTo before and currently there is a £10 price difference.

If you do find one elsewhere let me know, I'll quite happily take over your pre-order on Shopto if you don't need it.
