Seems interesting, one thing I have read is the games all have in game adds that can be turned off by paying a small fee of $2, not known is if its per game or monthly

Re: SEGA forever
It all depends on quality of emulation, but yeah it's deffo interesting. I'd love to see this move to consoles, maybe on a flat subscription rate or something
Re: SEGA forever
Interesting concept. Shame I won't have any decent phone to be able to try it, but maybe if its a big enough success they could bring it to consoles. I'm sure we've brought their MD games enough times already to warrant a console version.

Re: SEGA forever
Didn't Sega try this on the PC a few years back? You could even buy special USB Saturn controllers?

I just wish they'd start releasing Saturn games on the XBox. Only one I can think of off the top of my head is Guardian Heroes, and that was years ago.

They did but it was all Mega Drive based I believe. This one is apparently going to cover all their home systems.

Re: SEGA forever
This really interests me, especially if they get some of the more obscure classics like Gain Ground, Outrun 2019, Master of Darkness and SMS Choplifter on there.

Re: SEGA forever
Well I downloaded the games today on my iphone 5s
The games are megadrive version of Sonic 1, Kid Chameleon, Altered Beast, Comix Zone & Phantasy Star II
The ads in games are as not irritable are in some apps games I have but a couple of games the sound at odd times tends to sound glitchy otherwise they are OK.
The virtual controls aren't as easy to use + covers part of the gameplay area. I will need a Bluetooth controller in the near future!

Re: SEGA forever
Meh will be skipping this. I have a large majority of segas classics on other formats and dont like playing action packed games on a phone (i tried sonic 2 and it controlled like a turd.)
A good idea that will suit some people but id rather they made a collection of saturn games into a collection to buy for a current gen console.

Re: SEGA forever
What's going on - Sega do this which is accessible but to all intents and purposes generally poor. And Nintendo do something brilliant with the NES/SNES minis but have production so low nobody can buy them.

What a let down this is, meh to mobile gaming.
Re: SEGA forever
So how do you find out when they release games on this then? So far, I've got Comix Zone, is that's all that's available?
