XBox 360 Backward Compatibility Super Sale

Post by ALK Temp » Tue May 16, 2017 6:35 pm

Just a heads up, there's a huge 360 download sale going on between now till the 22nd May with over 270 games discounted for pretty much loose change. And everything's backwards compatible for XBONE as well!

I got all the way to the end of the list, then it says this:
These offers are only valid for Xbox Live Gold members

No bargains for me then. Oh well, there were only a couple I fancied anyway.

Probably worth picking up a months membershup just to harvest some lovely 360 goodness. I think I've a months trail waiting to be activated anyway.

I have the 360 disc version of blue dragon but bought and downloaded it for the Xbox one to play through again.

Picked up Dungeons and Dragons Tower of doom + chronicles of mystara collection. Have the Physical copy of this on PS3 but for this price happy to buy and play through again

Already have most of what I wanted, stuff like Final Fight Double impact, Hydro thunder Hurricane, Monkey island 1 and 2 etc but anyone who has an Xbox one and never had a 360 and bought any of these are getting a bargain for only a couple of quid each.

Are all of these also available on a 360 with an XBL Gold membership, or just those with an Xbox One? (as the Backward compatibility bit implies)

Itd for Xbox one owners as well. there is a tile on the front screen advertising it.

Edit. sorry missed the 360 part, yeah they are available to both. Some really good deals on there.

The list is split in two. Top half has Xbone, lower half shows the 360 stuff. It says once purchased, they'll download to 360, so apparently open for the older system if you pick the right games.

It's all a bit confusing... but trust me, you do not need to be an Xbox Live Gold member to take advantage of these deals.

I'm not and I've just picked up Lego Indiana Jones, Jeremy McGrath's Offroad, Ikaruga, Capcom Arcade Cabinet & Ghostbusters Sanctum of Slime.

I also wanted Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, but the store said they weren't available... but I went onto my PC and bought them from their and then they showed up on my XONE.

It's not a great system... but the bargains are excellent (for a change)!

Only the games with an asterisk by them require Gold. On the 360 list that means Worms 2: Armageddon.
If it's slower than me, dumber than me and it tastes good ... tough titty.
