Meh, something older at least, not all these "HD Remasters" of PS360 games that are barely 5 years old.

I remember the failed kickstarter in 2014 to get the game back out there. Looks like it's happened anyway after a long wait.

I would play it to be fair as long as it isn't meddled with too much (the old grainy FMV has a kind of charm). I've never played it before (since my Mega CD died before I even had the chance to get a copy) and I do have a soft spot for sh*tty early 90's FMV "games".

Well, as you can see, I'm happy about it.

So much so, I did a video looking at the existing versions:

I would totally reay given im a little older now. I was a bit younger when i originally played it so some of the narrative went over my head.

One of those games everyone knows but few have played, so lots of potential customers

The advantage of the new version is that the video is now not the pixellated mess that it once was and you can actually see what's going on. Ummm...yeah, that's about it.

Apparently Limited Run are going to be selling this in three different covers, safe in the knowledge that the complete collection mob will shell out for all three versions. I'd love to sit in on one of their meetings just to see if they offer any justification for doing multiple versions - or if they just sit there laughing while rubbing their hands together.

Business makes business decision to be profitable shocker.

Let's be honest, if people are willing to shell.out for 3.different sleves, then you can't blame Limited Run for doing it. They know their market, and sell appropriately.

Assuming they have all the original footage, it's hardly going to cost them much to develop either

Day one purchase still got my original Mega cd pal copy, saves me buying anothor Mega cd very unreliable console. Could get quite far on Sega version, well memorised when the ninja vampire Augers came and which girls they went after.

In the Vita groups on FB (where it seems the LR thing is at it's most rabid), you should have seen the excitement when LR started making stickers and cardboard boxes. They could seriously put the Vita Youtube app on a cart with three different covers and it would sell out in minutes.
