I think its around 30m xboxes to around 55m Ps4s.

Yes the PS4 is outselling it by a healthy margin but when you are talking about those sorts of figures its still healthy, The 360 was a huge success last Gen and something people do not realise is that the Xbox one is slightly ahead of the 360 at the same stage.

People talk about winners and losers and winning generations, but the market is now so big that a company can do really well without having to match what another company os doing.

Having not heard of any new exclusives or releases and not knowing any owners, I honestly thought it was dying off.

This is an interesting article on sales: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/tech/gaming/ ... Slow-Start

Xbox One ended 2016 as the best selling console.

I wonder if there is any data on active PC/Steam users. Not sales of course would be interesting to see how it all matches up.

What are the good XOne exclusives? Not a troll question but a more a genuine one. For example - and I've said this before numerous times - I'm a little jealous of Rare Replay and Killer Instinct but I genuinely can't put a list together of other games that I can't play on PS4. That's not me saying that I think other XOne exclusives are crap - it's me saying that I genuinely have no idea what else there is other than the usual Halo, Gears etc. that the 360 had.

Could you not just do a google search if you're genuinely interested? I feel you'd rather wait for someone to put up a list so you can then say... oh, they're all rubbish, thank goodness I like PS4... or make the already made several times and fully recognised by Xone fans point that the PS4 has had a far better year for exclusives. Am I right?

Well, I have already mentioned the Forza games and Dead Rising numerous times, for me those are the main reasons I own an Xbox. Then there is also Scream Ride (which my son loves), Knight Squad (ditto),Fortified (ditto again) Raiden V, Zombie Driver and Into The Belly of The Beast.

I know there are loads more, these are just games that I have personally and enjoy.

No. You should know me better than to think I'd want to censored off a load of games to be argumentative :| . Bit disappointed to be honest, mate.

I always prefer to hear recommendations and such from those with first-hand experience rather than reading off whatever website(s) Google throws up.

I initially went with PS4 for specific games. I've genuinely never had Xboxes aside from the original (which was given to me for free long after it ceased being relevant). It's just something that hasn't happened, not me saying "Xbox is crap, I don't want anything to do with it". I've not had the extra space for another machine or some other genuine reason.

That list gman, it's way out of date. There are games on there that are definitely out on PS4 and they were never "exclusives" as such, just that the Xbox One version was released before being ported to PS4.

In truth, the number of exclusives on either console doesn't mean much to me these days. The PS4 could have a hundred exclusives and it still wouldn't make me favour it. Nintendo machines have loads of games I can't play on an Xbox and I don't miss a single one of them either.
If it's slower than me, dumber than me and it tastes good ... tough titty.

I know, mate. I mentioned on the bottom of the list that some of them are timed exclusives only. I just couldn't be arsed to do someone else's research any more thoroughly than that. Feel free to update it accordingly if you have a care to do so.

I've owned a PS4 since launch and bought an Xbox One last December as I really wanted to play Forza Horizon.
Since owning it I've tended to favour the Xbox - I'll usually buy multi platform games on that rather than the PS4.

I'd find it hard to point to specific reasons for why I like the Xbox better - I think it's just the feel of the user interface. The online store seems better to me too.

Well I will say "cheers" anyway. List gives me more of an idea of what's on XO (even if it is out of date). Loads I haven't heard of too.
