Something for any interested Amiga fans. It is nearly funded already so can just wait for the book to release and then buy it then.
I've gone for the Platinum Pledge as I want the blu-ray with it.

I'm in for this as well. £30 hardback.

I also found out that Brian Bagnall's Amiga book was still happening. I had a pre-order on Amazon and when Amazon cancelled the pre-order I assumed that was it but it turned out that the project was overwhelmingly funded on KS and Brian chose not to sell through Amazon anymore for some reason. Fortunately, the Kickstarter deal is still available through PayPal (much to my relief and delight):

Yeah, I pledged for both those books the instant I knew the campaigns were live.

Haha, its ok Hawk, I got your joke :D

David Pleasance seems like an interesting guy, but definitely is the 1980s throwback of brash businessman, "yuppie", bragging about his successes (often individual success) and blaming failures on others. Which is interesting, even if his "ilk" and style is currently outdated (although Trump might be trying to re-invent it!). So his book should have some juicy stuff in it.

I definitely got a Lord Sugar vibe from his video.

I'm really disappointed with the stretch goals. It's the worst one I've ever seen, and I've backed over 20 of the things. The first one was something that was already promised in the video (but not mentioned on the main page; signed books), and the second one was for another Kickstarter (download only of a film) that I'd expect most people were already getting, as it's a very similar subject (both Commodore, one a book, one a film).

So, I feel like after getting 200% of the asking amount, we aren't really getting any extras. Other ones I've backed have had excellent stretch goals (more pages, more pictures, full colour, better cover, free gifts, etc).

I'm sure the book will be very good, though.

Spot on!

Will buy this when it's out. The "retro books to read" pile is too high for me to have backed the KS.
