to be honest, as cool as it was too look at,forestville wrote:Ridge Racer Fullscale in Namco Station London/Strikers Bowl Tamworth
at £2 a go it was worth playing on that game.
the one in London was cool and worked properly but the one in Tamworth got vandalized many times.

it was a pretty crap gaming experience, as the car wasn't on hydraulics.
although the huge screen was excellent.
the deluxe cabinet was more fun to play, as it tilted and juddered with you inside it.
i remember seeing a picture in EDGE magazine once,
a version of Sega Rally (1 or 2, i forget) at Sega World/Park in Japan,
showing 4 full size cars (i think toyota celica's) up on hydraulic platforms.
now that would have been something amazing to play.

Tough one, a few come to mind:
GLoc - yeah, the one where you went all the way around
Gradius (i think!) - It was an actual walk in, closed unit, where about 6 people sat down and played to get the highest score. Was at Meadowhall in Sheffield, anyone help me out who can remember this one??
Roadblasters - the whole sit down unit and that funky space age steering wheel were gr8 for an 8 year old!
Sonic Blast Man - My knuckles are permantely deformed, but I took great pleasure beating all my bigger mates!
And what was that arm wrestling game????? That was always a good one to (try desperatley) get girls!
