Akira computer game on the Amiga

Post by yethboth » Mon May 28, 2007 4:59 am

Does anyone remember this forgotton game that was considered as one of the worst anime games and biggest dissapointments to come out on the Amiga.

I also believe that the Akira game only came out on the Amiga.

Am I right?

What does everyone else think?

It is bloody awful.

Possibly the worst film to game adaptation ever (and when you think about how poor some of those endless tie ins by Ocean were, thats saying something).

A platform game whilst riding the motorbike if I remember correctly?

Was done by a developer famous for bad film-to-game conversions, can't remember the name though.

Wasn't there going to be a SNES version that was cancelled?
I seem to recall seeing a screenshot in a mag at the time... I presume it wasn't going to be just a port of the Amiga game was it?
