I saw the demo online & it gave me a splitting headache, hoping to give it a go on the original hardware at some point though as I loved TxK on the Oculus.

Were there men in dark suits waiting to take away anyone who played it?

I'd not heard of it before now, but it's a terrible name that will just ensure the terrible myth surrounding the name continues to pop up every few years.

The other thing that will probably pop up is some IP troll who claims to own the name. I don't know why Minter has such a blindspot for this. You'd think he'd learn.

edit: a look at the gameplay video shows it doesn't look much like his usual Tempest/Robotron/Gridrunner comfort zone stuff for a change. Nice one.

But ... not interested really.

As in it looks like someone else's game with flashy visuals?

Even if the original never existed, what's the betting that Atari have some claim on the intellectual property?

So this is out, anybody played it yet?

Sadly it's the sort of game I'd want on a portable so I just played TxK instead but I hope it's good (VR ain't an option and I doubt it's suited to remote play).

As it's currently only on PS4 I'll currently stick to Space Giraffe on my xbone thank you very much

I did play the game at Play Expo and bloody hell is it intense. Just like Space Giraffe it's one of those games that when you get "into the zone" just becomes natural and just a unique fun experience.

I'd definitely pick it up if it was PC or xbone but until then I'll obviously have to pass.

Minter fans will worship it as usual.
Nearly everybody else will think it's crap.
At some point Minter will whinge about the game's lack of commercial success.

So, same old Llamasoft really. The VR owners might make a difference. They'll hype anything.

Actually I haven't heard a bad word about it from anyone yet, Minter fan or not.

I bought it reminds me of Atari's Stun Runner gameplay wise. Don't own a VR headset, but looks nice through my Sony tv. Seems to have a lot of the speech from Minotron.

Never played Txt or Space Giraffe so can't comment if it's similar
