What's Snipper Clips like? Saw it for £16 in Game today.

Don't own a Switch yet, but getting one for Christmas for the kids.
Don't own it but its a great 2-4 co op game (I think you can play alone too) so the kids'll have fun working together to work out how to solve a puzzle. They're actually releasing an expansion next week along with a physical version.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is looking genuinely epic.

The DLC pass isn't cheap but overall it could be worth it, probably makes sense to wait until next year though when more is known about it.

There's also some free Xenoblade DLC being added to Zelda tomorrow, which is a nice bonus.

My Switch came today.

Happy with the system however my only reservation with it is the doc and the potential to scratch the screen. I did put a screen protector on first thing but I'm still cautious of getting the protector scratched. :|

Anybody have any problems?

I'd assume it's only for Zelda on Switch. Still a cool freebie.

I have the hard glass protector (though there is a cheaper film one I believe) - no scratches so far.

Yeah I have a tempered glass one too, I'd be scared to dock the Switch without it.

I don't know why they don't just make the screens out of the same material as the better screen protectors.

Apparently it's coming to the Wii U as well. The Zelda DLC that is. You'll definitely need a Switch for Xenoblade 2.

The first streaming app got released today on the Switch in the US and Japan. Its Hulu yeah, but hopefully more will follow along pretty soon.

In more retro-ier news, Irem Arcade games are coming to the Switch.

Streaming I'm not too bothered about, but will any download services be available to watch offline? That would be useful.

The Irem article linked to also says this:
NintendoLife wrote:There's no word on if or when these games will arrive in the west, but it will be easy enough to download them from the Japanese eShop.
How do we do that then? (Step by step instructions preferred).

My 8 yr old son sailed through Mario Odyssey in 2 and a bit days. He is doing extra missions, outfits, collecting moons but think there needed to be a bit more challenge. He loves every minute of course.

I've finished Mario as well. Doing post game stuff, have 511 moons now and am nowhere near done! Took me more than two days though, but as always that's because a playthrough of Yakuza got me very side tracked for a while! Makes me wonder if I'll manage to finish Mario before the next Yakuza game is released in just under a month...

I've bitten and ordered a switch today. I kept holding out, but the Game deal with Mario and Mario v Rabbits for £330 seemed OK. and the missus will pay some of that for Xmas.

Looking forward to get stuck in now.

Any game and memory card recommendations?

You'll need a microSD card if you're intending to do anything more than playing first party games from cartridge. There's only room for two or three downloads on the internal storage and some of the third party games have big installs even if you play from a cartridge. 32GB is probably the bare minimum but I'd recommend getting the biggest you can afford. Swapping cards isn't too hard though, so don't feel like it's 200GB+ or nothing.

On the games front, you've already got the best two exclusives there. I'd also recommend Zelda and Mario Kart if you've not played them to death on the Wii U, and Splatoon 2. Oh, and Doom is out now.

I was thinking 128gb, as costs rise quite sharply after that.

I have zelda special edition. Also two pro controllers I forgot to cancel at lauch!

Yes that's the games on my list, doom is interesting but I have it on the xbone... although I'll probably get it when it's on sale, just cause it's technically so impressive.

Want to see how skyrim plays too...

Anything I really should look at on the eshop? Stardew valley would be a great handheld game.
