So nearly a week after launch, how is everyone feeling about their purchase? I'm still thoroughly enjoying mine. I've been playing my Switch as much as possible since launch but, with a social life, full time job and other commitments, that isn't a lot! It's gotten to the point where I literally daydream at work about getting home and turning it back on
haven't been this addicted to gaming in a long time. One of the biggest eureka moments has been the versatility of the thing. I can play on my lunch-break, at home on my TV, while travelling, all seamlessly. I took it to a friend's place the other day to play 1-2-switch and I popped it on the table, hit power and within 10 seconds we were playing. No cables, no fuss.
And Zelda? This is a game that just seems to get better and better. I spent three hours today ascending & exploring the Duelling Peaks area and spent the whole time awe-struck. There's just so much content, so many things to see and do, that it often feels overwhelming. Hyrule is bloody massive! Love all the little characterisations too, was going to dive off of a bridge when an NPC grabbed me and begged me not to commit suicide
. What I find most interesting is that this is also the first ever console game my girlfriend has been excited to play (in fact, atm she's playing more than I am
Going to pick up the Shovel Knight collection at some point...then toward the end of April there's Mario Kart 8 & Puyo Puyo Tetris to keep me amused. As light as the games line-up looks on paper, there's actually a LOT of gameplay to be found. Fast RMX alone will take me a few weeks to work through all the cups!
