So the Hyrule warriors AoC.
the framerate tanks.
It also adds a lot more stuff to it like the slate powers from BoTW, it seems so far everybody has styles (Zeldas bomb one walks).
They haven't just edited the maps as they have much more stuff in them (so far)
In the demo you get two levels to play and a few censored easy challenges.

Also £49.99?
Bloody hell

If you just play the main story mode its a few hours.

If you try the adventure maps thats a few hundred hours to unlock almost everything

Isn't that roughly the standard RRP for big studio games at launch? That said I've seen it going online for £43, if not cheaper elsewhere.

Not exclusive to Switch but I'm really interested in that Sakuna: Of Rice And Ruin. Anybody already commited to picking it up?

It looks lovely.

The gameplay seems utterly wild though, somewhere between Stardew Valley and a beat 'em up.

I think I'll wait until some reviews are in.

Yeah probably best to wait for reviews, though I think I'm a sucker for that setting and art style. Price is quite reasonable for a physical release.

On the E Shop check out Space Elite Force.

Decent little shoot em up and at the moment it's on offer at 26p so well worth a look at that price.

Well at least they finally updated Vigil so the saves no longer crash on me. Loading is still terrible, as Keats she no longer freezes during combat.

Looks like a 360 game, an early one

I'd think that people ought to have figured out by now that the only reason you'd buy a third party AAA game for the Switch is to play it handheld. In that respect it looks quite decent.

The review embargo ends in a few hours though so I think I'll hold off an impulse purchase for now.

Except it isn't. Switch is my only current/last gen system, so the only option I have to play these games.

It looks fine to me too. I've no problem with playing stuff that looks like PS360.

I won't be buying this one anyway. Doom 2016 looked good, but they'd broken the gameplay loop of earlier Dooms. This one is apparently worse, with forced melee combat and weapon use to get specific types of power ups/ammo, so you can't stick with a preferred method.

From what ive seen, DE has a flow to the combat, you have to keep moving switching weapons on the fly, its very fast paced, it limits ammo for each weapon so you dont end up sticking and have to learn whats weak against what type of weapon, melee is used to gain ammo/ammo/health
Still not played DE yet, put off by it having platforming

Melee in classic DOOM is a thing, I tend to use it against Cacos, pinkies and sometimes lost souls to save ammo

Right i'm a bit of a noob when it comes to the Switch

Kids wanted to play MineCraft split screen, bought the game, got home then couldnt seem to play it. I thought each one of them would have a joycon to play but nah doesnt seem to work like that. Had it hooked up to the TV so i looked on amazon and to do this split screen i have to really buy two extra joysticks for them. Is that right ? I havent got it wrong etc ?
