For those that don't already have the Doom ports, they're currently on offer on both Switch and XBONE

Doom 1+2 for as cheap as £1.19 and Doom 3 for about £2.60

And Doom 64 will also have a £3.99 price point.

Wish more retro ports were like this, super cheap, even cheaper in sales and fixing/adding content.....

Sunset Riders is FINALLY getting a rerelease!

I don't care this is a barebones Arcade Archives release, I'm just so happy to be able to play it again from my childhood.

Animal Crossing is finally out now, so I've taken the opportunity to pick up a Switch Lite.

My sister did the same yesterday. Managed to grab a yellow one from Very.com and AC from GAME's website.

Crazy how fast Switches are now selling due to people being stuck at home in isolation/off work. The prices for the regular non-Lite models are a joke at the moment, even used.

My Switch, ordered from the Nintendo store in February, was due to arrive on 11th March. I understand there may be delays due to coronavirus, but there has been no communication from Nintendo at all. I've had issues with them since December, and their customer support is shocking. It's sad given I've been a Nintendo fan since the NES days. I saw news about coronavirus impacting Switch production for the Asian market, but Europe was apparently okay. Meanwhile, Nintendo is sending me e-mails to review the games I've ordered and trying to encourage me to download Animal Crossing to my non-existent console.

Hyrule warriors, it keeps going

I unlocked a challenge mode where I can play as boss Gannon

Smacking the s**te out of other bosses

Also tried to play it on the bog
Main problem, the frame rate sunk

Yeah, got AC last week. My first digital preorder since well, it is that sort of game you want to keep checking back on and not have to swap game cards out every single time.

Enjoying Animal Crossing, trying not to rush it but it is quite addictive. Might finally make use of my online membership code, the one I got with Mario Maker 2 last year!

The direct just happened this afternoon, quite long for a 'mini' but nothing too earth shattering announced or shown. I'll probably get 5-6 games from it though. There's a Bravely Default 2 demo out today.

My highlights:

Xenoblade - Gets some exclusive content as well as the HD makeover. I guess I'm in for a third copy of the game then.

Bioshock/Borderlands/X-Com 2 - All great games if you've not played them yet. Yet more cases of stub cartridges with huge downloads though.

Catherine - Great puzzler with an utterly whacked out backstory. Just after I bought the PC version too, and this is the 'Full Body' update rather than the classic one.

ARMS - It's not dead yet!

It was much needed, even if it was only a Mini one.

Love Xenoblade to bits so of course I'm gonna get it. I'm just hoping that Collector's Edition is not too pricey, especially in these times. I heard someone say it might be £250 but I have no idea if thats true or not.

Very giddy for Episode 1 Racer getting another shot, especially if like Jedi Academy it has online multiplayer. Now, if they can get started on some kind of Rogue Squadron collection next....

And Burnout Paradise is pretty neat, even if I've yet to play the Remastered version I got on my XBONE (Waiting till I get a 4K telly and HDD to even download it.) but if it drops down in price as fast as Remastered did, I'll certainly grab it yet again.

Mr Driller Drill land coming to Switch, it's the GameCube one that was a Japanese exclusive, it had loads of extra modes that where hard to understand due to the language barrier, it also formatted whatever memory cards where plugged in.

It's pretty much the best Mr Driller game

I like Mr Driller, it's one of my most played DC games, but I fear this will come with a premium price tag.

It's a great game, but let's face it, the development costs are pretty minimal, lower than most indie games as there isn't a whole lot to it. At the right price I'm in.

Content wise, it has a lot besides classic Driller, I just hope it dont have that input lag im feeling on a lot of Switch ports.
DOOM seems to be kinda unplayable due to this.
Press button, move, it fires
