In the mean time, I've been playing Katana Zero, which is a fantastic side scrolling action indie game. Surprisingly great story as well. Definitely worth getting.
This is 25% off at the moment, I may have to get it, anybody else recommend?

Might be worth opening it up to have a look what the problem might be, there's a teardown vid on youtube.

Its also getting a free update this month to add more content (speed run and hard mode). Which I can't wait for as the game definitely needs a hard mode to test my skills!

Anyway, I grabbed Yoshi and Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary this week. I've actually only been playing Guilty Gear (the first one) as the PAL PSX port was censored, lots of content chopped out story wise which is thankfully in this one. Game holds up incredibly well, I've been having such a blast replaying it, soundtrack adds way more to the game than I expected, I love my heavy rock in fighters...
Otherwise I've been playing more Castlevania. Finished CV4 on the collection and once I'm done with GG I'll move onto Bloodlines. Can't wait for the Contra collection either, its worth it alone for the Japanese version of Hard Corps for me.

The Pokemon Direct happened, the game looks good, seems like a big open world to explore. Released in November, I'll likerly get it.

The co-op battle mode certainly interests me the most, and I don't usually spend much time playing Pokemon's online modes these days so that has me most interested.

Sociable Soccer seems to have stalled - all the talk on their Twitter is about "the Chinese market". Weird - I'd hoped when i got the Switch that SS would be well here by now.

For those that did not want to make a Japanese eShop account, that rather awesome Virtua Racing and Wonder Boy Monster World SEGA Ages are finally being released on the Euro eShop on June 27th.

Been hammering away at my Switch backlog some more, been playing Gunlord X over the weekend - its basically Turrican 4 in all but name. And its darn good. Enormous levels, excellent soundtrack and the difficulty is on point. I'm really enjoying myself. Well worth getting if your a fan of Turrican.

Also been playing Just Shapes and Beats, its a music game where you basically avoid bullet hell attacks that attack you in time to the music. As expected, itss got a fantastic soundtrack with some nice surprises in there (Yokuman's theme from Mega Man Unlimited, and the Mortal Kombat main movie theme - which is insanely hard).

My son picked up the pokemon tournament fighting game. Confused the hell out of of me but he seemed to enjoy it. I've been playing some of the NES games as part of the online pass thing.

BOTW 2, Dragon Quest and Banjo in Smash, Panzer Dragoon, dates for Link's Awakening and Animal Crossing, all that Mana you can shake a stick at.

Pretty much a Megaton of stuff announced at E3.
