I don't know of a controller travel case.

I got the Hori Switch case which is pretty good for the main console and joy cons.

This is probably what you're looking for:

I've also seen a few cases for carrying the entire system around, including the dock. This one seems to have garnered a lot of positive reviews:

That looks spot on, thanks. Not too stupidly priced either.

I already have a Hori case for the switch, I've no intention of lugging the dock around, that stays at home.

Pre-ordered Kirby, seems like a safe bet, can't see them getting this wrong.

Quick question about Skyrim.

I want to play it, somehow I never have before. I can get it on Switch for around 40 quid OR I can play it on my PC. I already have it on PC in fact, bought it in a Steam sale months ago, however of course my computer is up in the study plugged into a small monitor, isn't portable and is not particularly good specs-wise. I've tested Skyrim on it however and it does run at a playable speed - around 30fps - on the low preset.

Is Switch Skyrim worth paying the extra for considering I'll get:

Better graphics (probably) than I can get out of my PC,
The ability to play it on my big TV in the living room with my feet up,
The ability to take it portable,
All the DLC included in the box

Or am I better off sticking with the version I already own and which won't cost me anything extra? I guess what I'm asking is, has anyone played Switch Skyrim and do they consider the extra features to be worth paying for the game all over again? What I don't want to do is invest dozens of hours into the PC version and then decide it's too much hassle playing it that way and have to start it all over again on Switch!

If you only bought Skyrim on Steam a few months back, you might already have the special edition with all the DLC. The original hasn't been on sale since the middle of last year, at any rate.

All in all, I'd think that the PC version is better by pretty much any objective measure but the caveat is that it's only ever going to be as good as the hardware you have to run it on. So, if the Switch is going to offer you more opportunities to actually play it - and it will demand a lot of your time if you finish it - that might be the one to go for. While it might be an extra forty quid for a game you've already got, if you end up spending as long as I have on it, that'll only work out at a few pennies per hour.

From March, you'll be able to use your MyNintendo Gold Coins on Switch eShop purchases.

Not a great conversion, but something extra to use those coins on....

Umm, what are these gold coins you speak of and how does one obtain them?

You sign up on the MyNintendo website with your same console log in account/email, and you earn coins for various things.

Gold Coins you get from every purchase of digital games of £4.50 or over (And physical Switch games, just highlight the game icon on your Switch and there should be an options thing.) and Platinum Coins for activities like visiting the eShop, Nintendo website, and MyNintendo website every week, and for playing Nintendo's mobile games. Coins are valid for a year before expiring.

For what you can redeem them for currently, pickings are slim. You can redeem them for discounts for select Wii U and 3DS games, 3DS Themes or Wallpapers for your PC. The Switch rewards are coming this March as mentioned, which from the sound of it you can use Gold Coins on anything in the Switch eShop but you'll REALLY need to spend a fair bit to get a decent discount (Buying a £50-60 download gets you £2 worth of Gold Coins I think come March.).

On the plus side, when you buy a game in a sale, its Coin value does not change. So say a £30 game is reduced to £3, you get the same value of Coins you would had you spend £30. Handy when Wii U 3rd Parties try to squeeze every last penny out of the system over the holidays.
