I have fake US SNES pads (I liked the Parma Violet buttons) and they work fine on my PAL SNES.

Dont really turst 3rd party ones
Know someone that got a load of them off Aliexpress, short cables, crap buttons and just awful to use

Saw a load of 3rd party ones on the car boot the other day, these where a different shape and are best used as throwing weapons

The fake ones I bought are garbage. The body is flimsy flexible plastic and the dpad doesn't feel quite right. Didn't spot they were fakes when I bought them, but they were really cheap on ebay years ago before the prices shot up.

Was just going off this site:
http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/using-import- ... -pal-snes/

Seems that it might just be certain pads then i.e. specific revisions perhaps.

That article says it only impacts specific revisions of the PAL SNES hardware. Nice simple mod to get round it too, even the most ham fisted solderer can join two adjacent points with a dribble of solder.

I use a American SNES pad on my SNES, and it works fine, always has. Never tried a Jap one though.

its been on there a month or 2 at least.

I looked at some stuff I own on snes for examples:

super punch out cart only £14 cash (not bad, at £17 I would probably bite)
lemmings 1 and 2 boxed £3 each (dafaaaack?)
prince of persia boxed £16 cash (hmm not sure)

Mine just got a bit more SNES stuff in - nothing that interests me or that I don't already own though.

Oh, and a boxed NES Mini... for £120!

Odd how my local wouldnt allow me to trade in a Snes game when i tried though. Far too selective when it suits.

People will pay anything at Christmas unfortunately. Somebody told me they were planning on getting hold of one of those massively jacked-up Fire Emblem Fates LE boxsets for me (because I'd already mentioned how people were trying to re-sell them for more than double the original RRP) and I told them not to dare give the scalpers that kind of hard-earned money.

This new shop opened in the high street recently that looks like a CeX knock off, only bright green instead of red. Can't remember the name, they had a few Gameboy games and....well, £20 for Golf, £28 for Super Mario Land, £45 for Ducktales 2, all cart only. What was disheartening though was they were offering the manuals for those games separate for £10 each, along with the price sticker slapped onto em. :/
