Yep, looking forward quite a bit. I think Sonic just fundamentally works better as a 2D game, and the sooner Sega comes to terms with that the better.

This is exactly what i have been hoping for for years now. The team behind it are a good pedigree and the style is on point with the Sega Saturn era. I cannot contain my excitement for the game and it's going to be an agonising wait until it comes.

I bought a 360 to play Sonic 4 and it was a load of tosh, I won't be getting a new console to play this one but I'm still "looking forward to it".

Always yes. Irregardless of end product a franchise you love is always worth looking forward to a new installment. I enjoyed Sonic 4, i am 100% sure I will enjoy this too!

Just can't get excited about anything Sonic. It's never been a big franchise for me if I'm honest. These days it feels like a dead horse of a franchise that keeps being flogged despite its growing irrelevance. Hopefully the fans will get something they're happy with.

My eyebrows went up the moment I saw the Christian Whitehead logo. Even before I saw the footage I knew this was a game project I could trust. When I did see it, I'm not looking very much forward to it.

I'd prefer the first three games remade in proper HD 2D technique like this Sonic 2 HD fan demo. I'm aware it would be quite the work to do this but if we're playing games on modern hardware then why not give our beloved childhood games a extra visual and sound flare we'd expect from modern hardware?

But I'm glad Sonic is going back to his 2D roots, it's what I honestly think works best for this franchise.

There are more than enough Sonic games in my pile of shame already.
