If there was an XBone sequel announced, I'd buy one tomorrow.

So that's a "no" then.
I thought Bethesda might have put out a statement confirming the rumour but it's still just the rumour being circulated and taken as fact. We'll know for sure when they give their E3 presentation I guess.

Has anyone soft-modded the 360 yet?
It would be good to get linux, mame, emulators, and program home-brew without all thr M$ costs on there.

I suspect it is a real thing but I've not heard anything official just yet.

I recently acquired an HD DVD drive and I'm having trouble getting it to work with my 360 slim. I've used the install disc and hooked everything up correctly but the discs just won't run when I put them in the drive.
The drive comes up in the Storage section of the dashboard and I've tried formatting/deleting the previous user's information just in case that was confusing things but still no luck. What do I have to do to get this thing to work? I'm 99% sure that it's not an optical drive issue because there is some kind of mechanism happening when I put the disc in but there seems to be something missing that stops the drive from reading the disc.

Problem solved. I just had to go into the Video Apps tab and the HD DVD option was right there waiting for me. So annoying when you spend ages stressing out just to find out that it was something simple all along.
I stumbled into HD DVD because they had an HD DVD copy of Hendrix in Monterey up for grabs for £1.99 in my local record store. I have a 360 so I decided to take my chances and was fortunate enough to find that Cex were selling the HD DVD drives for £5 shipped. Just added Unforgiven, Full Metal Jacket and the uncut US version of The Shining to my collection (one of the neat things about HD DVD is that there is no region encoding).
I haven't branched out to Blu-Ray yet so I'm going to have some fun with its Betamax equivalent.

Those HD DVD Drives will work with any model of 360 right? Been toying with the idea of getting one for collection giggles and if CeX are doing them for that cheap, why not?
