Now that one really isn't obscure; at one point i think that BMX Racers was listed as the biggest seller over all formats at any price point!
Wouldn't that have been BMX Simulator or am I just getting confused?

Nice to see Alchemist, Grumpy Gumphrey and Amaurote get a mention - great games.

Not overly obscure since they ended up on Crash covertapes but I put a lot of time into the two 'hacker' games, Satcom and Supercom. Plus Cult's 'Software House' too.

Would you describe these as 'obscure' though?

They're certainly 2 of my favourite Speccy games.

BMX Racers was the biggie; i remember being a naive kid and trying to sell a game to Firebird for budget release, Colin Fuidge specifically mentioned that title and said that games with skateboards and BMX bikes in were going to be the future of the market... amazingly close to the mark, actually! =-)

Great fire of London

Don't know how obscure it was but i didn't know anyone else who had it.

Warlord was another one.

I'm not sure if it's that obscure since it was a Your Sinclair covertape game (summer 88 IIRC) but I thought International Cricket was a pretty good game that never gets a mention. I'm completely rubbish at it now though.

I loved that game too but it eventually became a little too easy once you'd sussed the bowling out.

Personally , no

But they're 2 games I I don't think have ever been mentioned in RG
and were made quite early in the Speccys gaming history

IMHO Cyclone is a far superior game to TLL (although I love them both) te idea of wind as an enemy is quite unique , and it's implemented brilliantly - even when the cyclone approaches , you can still escape if you've got adequate skill
