That's what I call a justification to get VR. Wait until there's a DOA Xtreme compatible game...

Horizon Zero Dawn and Last Gaurdian were the only things that really jumped out at me from Sony tbh and we already knew about those. The Crash Bandicoot HD Collection is interesting so hopefully Activision won't bugger up the conversion. It might at least knock down the stupid prices for PS1 originals.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

So they were saving up space battles for this, quite clever business men...

Battlefield 1 looks visually great though, Frostbite is one of the most graphically (and physically) impressive engines out there today.

To bad its the new FF, it just looks so bad

Not in a PS2 graphics on modern gen way I mean the way it seems to play,
Or not really like an RPG

The new DOA is apparently compatible

LOADS OF BOUNCY PS2S!!!!
And a few Xboxes

To be fair both, Sony and MS, did a good show if you're into modern games, and the PC gaming show wasn't shabby either, if not exactly in the spotlight of things. A bit less optimistic for Nintendo who are said to have a more limited presence and focus on the new Zelda. Hopefully things will change for them when they officially reveal the NX and the next line of games being developed for it. I have a feeling they're starting to back out a bit, realizing they can't really compete with MS and Sony directly anymore and their spec/VR/4K/high budget exclusives war. But we will see what they're preparing.

EDIT: well here's the new Zelda trailer:

I don't see Nintendo really competing with Sony or Microsoft. Think they're mostly happy with doing their own thing and just doing okay business.

Watched a fair bit of the Zelda footage today and it does seem like they're going in a different route with this one. While they showed off a lot of exploring (Though reminding us that its just a small part of the entire game world), there's still a great mystery as to the plot with the only hint given is Hyrule is in ruin and not a lot of NPCs to talk to for clues, you even just wake up into this world with not much introduction. And then there's the little things like some voice acting, rock climbing, changing clothes and weapons so often, collecting food to restore your health instead of hearts, and Link can even jump this time.

And there was a bit of Pokemon Sun/Moon with a live gameplay, some new Pokemon, and a 4 player battle royale mode.

Apparently you can make Link run around naked

So will his PS2 be censored?

The new 3 heart/swordless run right there. ;)

Apparently Nintendo will be showing off some other games tomorrow, mostly stuff they've announced already like Paper Mario, as well as another Mario Party for 3DS. Pikmin 4 is rumored to be one of em.
