Racing games, American, European or Asian cars

Do you have a preference, or is there any car you always look for in a game.

I have to admit I always get a Skyline at the earliest opportunity. followed by a Toyota celica and Lancia Delta.

Original style Minis are always fun, as are Mazda MX5s.

European, obviously. Car brands like Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, BMW, Audi, McLaren, Lancia, etc. are all of European origin. Although some American "muscle cars" are pretty cool too, as are some Japanese ones (they make great rally cars).

I have favourites from all corners of the globe to be honest. The ones I look to get hold of or use asap would be...

Japan - Toyota Supra (JZA80), Nissan Skyline R34

Europe - Ford Escort RS Cosworth, Sierra RS Cosworth, Audi Quattro, Ferrari F50

America - Ford Mustang (most versions), Dodge Charger ('68-'70 model)

Obviously there are others too and I really like a racing game that included some rarely selected picks. PGR2 for example had the awesome Audi RS4 and manic Noble M12 GTO which was great fun to monster around the Nordschiefe :D
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

I tend to pick Japanese cars, and often buy any that I have actually owned IRL.

No real preference except NOT American.
A lot of them had handling similar to a small boat.

I would always pick Japanese cars as well like the Skyline GTR, Mazda RX7 and Supra. Some European cars are cool though.

American cars like the Dodge Viper and Corvette were ok on straights but not so good when cornering.
