Of course there's always the Ultra-bling Zelda Wii...

Each Wii is lovingly covered in over 7,500 24-carat gold Swarovski crystals. Money well spent I'd say.

A few consoles I'm currently after - some of which are quite common, I know:

Sega Dreamcast
Atari Jaguar
3DO (Preferably Panasonic FZ-1)

Ha ha this bugger (the thread) pops up again now and I don't think my main "want" has changed for at least a year!!

A PC Engine Duo, I do want Sapphire now for the system but ouch that's bloody expensive!!

More realistically I'd love to get a complete copy of Alien Soldier

Even bootlegs of Sapphire go for £80+ I believe.

You really want a Duo RX mate - the final revision.

I quite fancy getting a Nintendo DS at some point - have always liked the look of the Zelda and Mario titles on it. And, nauseous as I now feel after just witnessing the cringe-tastic ad with those toxic Jedward things, that new Dragon Quest game looks right up my street as well.

Hmm, a few more that I thought of...

Virtual Boy
64DD (more of an add-on than a console)

And if we're talking original arcade machines...

Mortal Kombat II
Donkey Kong

Always wanted a Neo Geo - but the expense and the rabid nature of the fanboys put me off a bit.

one day I want to own a PC Engine. something about that console makes me all warm inside, even tho I've never played one.

the game I can think of wanting to own one day is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for the PlayStation. one of my favorite games of all time, but the high price keeps putting me off.

It's quite nice.

I'd be really happy to find a Mega CD version 1.

And this is why emulators have come to exist. The best free one for the PC Engine IMO is Ootake, so you can at least now try the games.

oh I have played a few games. I meant I have never layed my hands on the actual thing. I've never played or even seen a TurboGrafx either. I don't even know if they were sold here (Sweden) to be honest (well the PC Engine wasn't, obviously).

the reason I chose the PC Engine and not the TurboGrafx is mainly looks by the way. The PC Engine looks so clean while the TurboGrafx looks like a dated trying-to-be-cool look.

The PC-FX has always been on my want list, yet for some reason I haven't got round to getting hold of one.
I don't know if it's due to the lack of English friendly games or price... One day though :)
