I guess the three main consoles I'm after now are:

Nintendo Virtual Boy
Nintendo 64DD
Panasonic 3DO FZ-1

Recently I finally got my hands on an NES (not too hard to get) and I have a MegaCD coming.

You can still collect very cheaply for the console, but yes for the cream you have to pay top whack. The price of the console seems to be going back up too

Also after a PAL copy of Shining Force 3 for the Saturn, that won't be easy to get. :(
nor wil it be cheap
Got it last week for £12 :D

My "main thing" to get now is, and probably always will be, the PC-Engine LT:

Followed by the Koei Pasago:

Adventurevision:

And the somewhat "easier" Mega Duck:

It was in one of those CEX-type places in Manchester - didn't have the cash the first time I saw it, so sent my brother in to get it the next day. Bargain of the year?

Koei Pasago?!! That's a new one on me. Does it just play old versions of Dynasty Warriors? :D

Aside of course from those of us who bought it when it first got released. For £20 brand new :) True. 2 copies in fact :) :)

They have Panzer Dragoon Saga in that same shop, but it appears they're savvy to that one - they're asking £100 for it
Also, they have a Mega Drive Mk.I and a Mega Drive arcade stick, each priced at £40 - shocking.

Not even that! Just many, many variations of Go :D

Strange. The manager of that shop must not understand what he's selling. Considering that I'm prepared to pay £60+ for Shining Force 3, and just actually finding a copy on sale now seems to be the hard (nearly impossible) part, I'd say you've got the bargain of the year, yes. :D

Have already got Panzer Dragoon Saga though. S'funny that Panzer Dragoon Saga is considered the rarer one, when there's pretty much always someone selling it on Evilbay.

I don't think it is. I think it's just suffering for Radiant Silvergun syndrome and goes for more just because it's more sought after.

Those are some really nice handhelds TwoHeadedBoy, I hope you manage to track them down someday :D

Apart from my (futile) ongoing hunt for the Chinese Special Edition of Rockman X8 I'd also like to own this:

Its a pretty cool looking Megaman pinball machine that would be a great addition to my collection. As always though there is more than 1 version of it (one with Metools and one with Robot Masters).

Never heard of that before but now I want one.

Googled it and found this amazing page with some really old electronics:

(Includes a "Kaypro" computer which any King Of The Hills fans will remember as Peggys weird little word processor)

Wow, who knew the Kaypro existed? More computers should have vertical screens, and be made of steel.

That Mega Man pinball thing looks a lot of fun - you can be sure there'll be variations that use a SLIGHTLY different font on the LEDs as well
