Yeah Ghost Pilots is very bland.

I played View Point for the first time the other day - is it just me or is it incredibly hard? I mean I can neraly 1CC Mushimesama, but View point I can't 1CC the first level!

Maybe its the ah..'view point'
You're right it is difficult I've played loads of shooters but this is right up there, I think it's the isometric angle that takes a bit of getting used to.

I plan on getting a Japanese DC for much the same reason, that and Rent a Hero doesn't work on PAL consoles even with an import disc apparantly.

Right now since I got my Playchoice cab the only thing I want to own is Mega Man V for the Gameboy. I swear everytime it turns up a freak accident happens meaning it gets away from me.

I was going to suggest you clubbing together and buying one of the DC console wholesales off japangamestock - they don't appear to be doing DCs anymore though. If your patient you can pick one up cheap off ebay - I got my boxed, as new one for £40.

I'd quite like a dev-Dreamcast...

Not quite a dev-kit, but more realisticaly I might start looking for a net yaroze.

Late reply, but I wouldn't suggest getting a yaroze if you want to actually start coding (unless you already know how to of course). The Linux kit for PS2 is a fairly good place to start, and the scene is still relatively active.

Man, this takes me back. Mars Matrix and the Japanese Dreamcast would probably be at the top of my list now since I've managed to track down all the really tough Megaman stuff.
I'd also like to get Spiderman Web of Fire for the 32X for a reasonable price for my Spidey games collection but I'm not to fussed about getting that anytime soon.

apart from getting a Mattel Aquarius and all the carts, what I'd really like is a nice Atari Woody.

(cruel but true story: got one at a carboot once, but the idiot game me the wrong transformer and there was some fire/melting and a lot swearing when I plugged it in. )
