Never mind supermarkets not stocking Nintendo, Boots haven't stocked Spectrum games for chuffing ages now.

I would hazard a guess that was sometime in the last century? Possibly during the time that mullets were still in fashion?

Went Asda food shopping last night and thought I'd check out their Nintendo section after reading this, and was shocked at how small it was lol.
Only 1 Wii U game!!

all the supermarkets around my way stopped stocking wii u games long before christmas. even smyths is pretty limited (and severely over-priced) stock.

I don't know about Tesco as I never venture to the main store. Morrisons is really bad with just token 360 and PS3 games that are overpriced compared to everywhere else, don't know why they bother.

ASDA is hit and miss with either having really good and cheap stuff in the sales or again token stuff. Sainsburys is probably the best, especially for WiiU as they tend to get the top titles in and not that bad compared to other places.

LOOK AT THOSE "games", They are the titles that you get forced to own due to them being bundled with the system

In general though Wii U games were selling so poorly the Supermarkets just stopped stocking them same with hardware. No surprise really, it's a failed console.
