Spanish version of Retrogamer mag?

Post by quantum » Thu Feb 04, 2016 4:43 am

Not than I can understand Spanish, but was intrigued that there's a version in another language... or is it just a fan mock-up? :?

(Stupid forum won't let me add image to first post, so added in first reply...)

Any ideas what issue it is?

It's licensed. It's mostly retro gamer content with new Spanish specific content too. It's easy to tell the new stuff as the design is different.

There's also a German edition. And a French one. I think the Italian edition is defunct though.

It's always strange seeing your work translated. My personal story in the Crazy Taxi feature went from taking place in Essex to the much more glamorous Madrid.

Most certainly is! Loads of mine seem to have appeared in the German edition:

Do the Germans call it Jag Uar instead of Jaguar then? Or is that just a page layout thing to avoid the binding on a dps?
The Retro League - Where skill isn't an obstacle
Retrocanteen, home of the unfairly banned

Do you have any plans on publishing material from the spanish Retro Gamer?
That article about Livingstone for example.
Ken sent me.

I can confirm that the Italian edition has long been dead, it lasted about three issues.

It's the page layout. We do exactly the same thing.
