Never got great reviews but I really enjoyed it.
Aye that was a good one. Initially very plain but soon warmed up. Assault Heroes was another one (sequel wasn't great though).
Mercs and Shocktroopers were good.
Not a fan of Commando though. Gets old fast for me.

I think a lot of people forget that Frontline was the first and incorrectly think it was Commando.

Shocktroopers. Over the top and addictive. I can only beat it by credit-feeding on SNK Arcade Classics Vol.1 though!
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Mercs the RPG version on the MD
I also have a softspot for Rambo on the Speccy. And Dogs of War is a neat game on the 'miggy - the 'mini-gun' is awesome!
