JetPac's in that as well, isn't it?

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure on the Mega Drive has the original Pitfall hidden in it, which is fairly great.

The GameCube version of Fight Night Round 2 has Super Punch-Out in it.

Klax on the GB Color has Minesweeper and Snake clones unlocked via passwords.

That's a port of P.O.D. (Proof Of Destruction), an old Mastertronic C64 game. Didn't know that was in there, but a little investigation shows they're both Shaun Southern games.

Prey had a Pacman clone in it? Was it in the bar or something? I remember the jukebox...
It was in the bar at the beginning. It's thematically based upon Human Head's previous game, Rune. Here's a review:

A pretty neat and brutal hack and slash adventure/platformer based in the Viking/Nordic mythology. The multi player expansion "Halls of Valhalla" was super fun. Sadly a sequel was never materialized.

Oh yeah, loved Rune. I need to install Prey and check that out!

Castlevania SOTN hidden in castlevania X on the psp. That was a really nice extra for anyone who did not want to splash the cash on a original.

I always thought that if there was one thing that would make OutRun 2006 perfect it would be the inclusion of the original Arcade OutRun.

It would also be very nice if we got to play the full version of Doom in the upcomming reboot and if the new Star Fox included some "SNES mode" with original polygon graphics, but I'm not holding my breath for that.

My friend always maintains that there is a mini battleship / depthcharge style game hidden in Exhaust Heat 2 for the SFC.

I've never found it and he says he can't remember how to get to it.

Yeah, the arcade machines inside the 24/7 stores and some of the bars I think. Just clones of games.

Triple Triad in FF VIII was a nasty addiction for me but the little RTS style game on Condor Mountain in FF VII also deserves a mention. Wonder if that will be in the remake?

Also, the Snake game on one of the pieces of equipment/weapons in Timesplitters 2 (has great music too).
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.
