Spyro is another one. The graphics are clearly 32bit but the original style doesn't seem to have aged too badly. I've been playing it again this week but on the PS3 with texture smoothing enabled and it still looks superb.
Yeah, Spyro does seem like a solid performer in the old 3D graphics department. For some reason Soul Reaver springs to mind as well on PS1.

Starfox and the Zelda games all look pretty nice as well, in a cartoony Nintendo way that rarely ages.

3D realistic driving games all look pretty yucky from that era, best ones that held up graphically are the ones like Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing.

Super Mario 64 seems to be going for a decent price (even boxed). Mario Kart 64 is worth a look if you can find one for a good price. Car boots are good places to pick up cheaply priced N64 games - I picked up 2 boxed 64 games for £2 each - one was Star wars Episode 1 racer and the other was Wave Race 64.

I thinned out my collection (and put some into storage) over the last few years. I was tempted to sell more, but the cost of buying back anything I changed my mind about seemed too large

The only things I'd really add to the collection I have are something really early like and intellivision or atari VCS - not got anything from that era - but apart from that I am happy with what I have.

when i used to have an n64 it was picked up from car boot for a fiver with golden eye southpark ecw mortal kombat trilogy and fifa 9. mortal kombat trilogy is a real gem on n64 as some of the content is exclusive to it due to other content being cut it has a few stages that are alterted from thir orignal form and soem stges knock through to unrelated stages i.e i think armoury knocks through to kombat tomb or it might be goros lair to kombat tomb plus it has 1 new fighter south park is a funny multi player game so all in all i think i got my value(if not from the n64 and golden eye alone) the rf lead was broken but i soon got it fixed and then later on got a snes av lead for it

blimey. I got mine for £8 at a car boot years back. Mind you, I stopped going to car boots this year as there was no retro at any of the my local ones.

Well banjo cost 14 complete, dk64 was 25 complete (without expansion), hybrid heaven cost 13 complete, plus expansion pack was 10 and the console cost 30.

the prices for the games were pretty fair going by ebay, though I think I paid a bit too much for the console itself.
