Sorry... sorry

The Cray 2 supercomputer. Trying to get Frogger to work on there was a nightmare. You'd think a supercomputer could handle that?

Genuinely? Yes.
Hated the Snes (I had a Megadrive )
Then I bought a SNES (with ALTTP) and loved it
Then hated it because it broke a week after the warranty ran out.
And it remained that way till many years later when I learned of the blown fuse problem.
Fixed, back to snes love.

the Saturn

every few years I get sucked into the retro hype about it and convince myself I need one

then I get it and realise that apart from sega rally, it sucks, and the supposed best "2D powerhouse" is outclassed by every 2D Dreamcast game.

I was a kid during the "bits wars" era. I owned a Game Boy and almost all my friends owned Nintendo consoles, so naturally we hated the Megadrive. Oh how naive we were...

I love the Megadrive but always go through phases of loving and hating the mega cd and 32x.

On 1 hand they are expensive add ons for the megadrive to play upscaled games on the megadrive but on the other they do have some really good arcade quality games.
