Very, very few.

Hotel Dusk 215 is my type of game so I enjoyed that. Anno 1701 I liked, but nothing is a patch on Settlers 2 in my opinion.

Er... aside from that?

Probably nothing. I didn't mind Resi 4 but it became too predictable. I'll get it for the wii but not just yet.

Ummm...WarcraftIII and Knights of the old republic 2: The Sith lords.

Other than that...umm...nothing.

I think I would have to go with the KOTOR series. Simply because it was so orginal when it came out, and so different to the many FPS that there were! The RPG does seem to be the most innovative game type on the Pc at the moment. We need a bit more variety!

The only game that i have played in many years that really floated my boat and that i thought would stand the test of time was Crazy Taxi.

The rest of 'em i couldn't give a tinkers cuss for.

Recent modern games I'm enjoying a lot are Geometry Wars and Shadowrun. I don't like most modern games to be honest but I do enjoy these.

Wario Ware (the first one completely restored my belief in gaming when it was at its lowest. Edge 7/10)

Rhythm Tengoku (just insanely wondrous, love bursting out of every beat. I can't play the clapping-geisha game in public, because it makes me want to hug everyone on the train. So unbelievably loveable I can hardly bear it.)

Outrun 2 (blue skies! Racing for non-nerds at last!)

Gradius V (so hard you'll cry, but so majestically glorious you'll never give up getting your arse kicked. Remember when games used to be hard and not be sorry for it? The last game to make me actually physically scream out loud.)

Ouendan/Ouendan 2 (not since Goldeneye has there been a game so hard to put down. Just one more song! I used up entire DS battery charges trying to S-rate a single track.)

Viewtiful Joe 2 is another one. So good I brought it to Australia with me.

I'm not sure VJ2 is that much better than VJ. Both are great though.

As folks on this forum know I am a Spectrum and Megadrive obsessive' and think that most of todays games are nowhere near the stadard of those games, but games that make me happy to be a gamer in todysere are Oblivion, Grand Theft Auto and Warcraft just to name a couple...

The GTA3 games (GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories - just wish they'd released the last two on XBox too) and Bully.

Prey on XBox360 (best FPS on it so far - and not holding out much hope for Halo 3 as found Halo and Halo 2 both very dull and repetitive)

Far Cry Instincts and Far Cry Instincts Evolution (on XBox).

Forza Motorsport 2 (XBox 360)

Lego Star Wars and Lego Star Wars 2 (got first on PS2 and second on XBox)

I suppose I could add a few more:-

Freedom Force I & II

Hostile Waters

Star Trek: Bridge Commander

These were all quite original games, and something different to endless FPS!

The Lego Star Wars' are indeed superb, finally pulling Traveller's tales out of a decade long slump of writing complete crap.

As much as they have changed, I still love the new Suikoden's that come out. I hope they make a Suikoden 6... nothing beats a good RPG

Have I mentioned Guild Wars?
