Played it a few times but just failed... Molecule man A8 for me... Discuss!
What was more amazing to me was the challenge of making it work on the less capable Commodore 64. It was a real nightmare implementation, but I did it. - Archer Maclean

Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, GTA games, Saints row games.

Notice a pattern, yeah, I just get so bored of open world games like those. I just end up bored to tears.

When I was younger I really didn't get Solar Jetman on NES. I've played it again since and I now love it, so that one was a bit of a slow burner for me. Final Fantasy 8 took a while to grow on me cos it took me a while to work out the junctioning system, but again I got to grips with it and it's one of my favourite PS1 games.

I'm not really one for a lot of the newer FPS games (COD is completely overrated IMO).

But the crown goes to Championship Manager - everyone loved that game when I was at school, but I just found it completely tedious and boring!

Elite..... I wanted to like it. I put in a fair amount of time on the c64. But got nowhere and didn't enjoy it.

I still love the idea of it though and I understand why people enjoy it.

Enterprise!

A so-called "Elite clone" where buying stuff was easy enough, but selling involved "talking" to the merchants in a similar method to the old "Eliza" programs. I don't know of a single person who EVER managed to actually successfully sell a single item in that game.

One man and his Droid(C64). Ive tried to like it, even watch some youtube videos but no avail. Played it multiple times (I think there was a C16 version too) but I'm still clueless!

GTA V/Red Dead Redemption. While I own both on the PS3, I just dont have the time to invest in them. Playing them for a bit, then leaving them for some time to pick them up later just doesn't work for me as at that point I'm quite lost and forgotten what to do! I have even re-started to play both (as I really like them) only to find time gets the better of me, they get cast to one side for another six months or so. Or at least when I get the TV to myself and the kids aren't at home.

Me too, I loved the look of it, even now. I thought if I bought the iPad version I'd get into it. However, after 2 minutes I found myself no nearer to understanding what was going on.

Guardian Heroes - just found it to be a bland button masher. And why do your stats reset for every playthrough?

Dead Rising - whatever good points it had were more than outweighed by the god-awful AI and save system

Traditional point and click games - I don't see the fun in spending hours working out some stupidly obtuse puzzle

Bullet hell shoot em ups - for me a shoot em up should be instantly accessible and rely on quick reflexes, not pattern learning

Technical fighting games such as Dead or Alive and Blazblue - honestly, if I can't pick up some moves quickly and stand a chance of winning a match, I'm not interested
