Okay, I've got a few.

1. Maybe buy new PC. Getting a high-end gaming rig together though is such a total pain... so not totally sure.

2. Get the few remaining 360 Japanese shmups that I dont have.

3. Buy more 2600 games. There's some that I'd really like to have, so I might buy a large blob of them offa ebay or something.

4. Buy an Odyssey 2 console. I have this already... it's in it's original box, with a huge pile of games, each also in their original box, with manuals, and so on.... but the device itself just doesnt want to work. So I might just grab a different one, though I'll mess with that one first and see if I still cant get it to do anything.

5. Buy more import Saturn games. I completely forgot I had one.

6. Get the remaining Mario platformers on the Wii U.

7. Try to resist the urge to buy games as bloody frequently as I do. Seriously, I'll actually do this simply because I'm bored at the time. Did this last night.

8. Find more good online multiplayer games! This'd be mostly PC stuff, mind you. Most console multiplayer seems to be alot of FPS games? It's been a long time since I've found something appealing on those that isnt Monster Hunter. Smash though, that one online is pretty darn good, yes indeed it is.

In terms of collecting:

- Buy a few of the more expensive games I've been putting off buying for far too long
- Buy retro games like shmups that I'll actually play
- Pick up a couple of classics on PS1 I don't own as I had copies at the time

I had a good clear out before Xmas, note to everyone else - get rid of your stuff in December as people pay more for Xmas gifts, in January ebay will be swamped with people clearing out and getting rid of stuff. Generally I'm going to spend more time playing the types of game I know I will enjoy. Got caught up in the hype of watchdogs, destiny etc last year, I'm old enough to start ignoring reviews now and just go with what I think.

To get just one sodding platinum trophy! Sad but true! To try some co-op okay online and see if I'm missing anything. To set up new games room after house move, and to try new gaming genres (maybe an RPG or two)

Heh, i thought i'd never get a platinum trophy either but then Diablo 3 came along.... :D Feel free to drop me a game invite if you go online. Its something that i've only come to embrace over the last year or so but it really can make a massive difference to what you can get out of a game.

It can play Trackmania 2 though, which is the better game...

Price is reasonable considering you get more than twice the power of a console, but let's not de-rail the thread again eh. I'm just trying to help out Misery here.

Just joking, I can't really say much as my PC probably cost nearly as much. although Championship manager is about all I use it for. Mariokart > trackmania for sure though.

Well let's just say they are different games for different tastes. No point comparing since they're so different. Now if Nintendo had a new F-Zero out, some more interesting debates could be had.

I would love a proper F-Zero with track editor.

Let's hope it doesn't stay just at "I would love to see it", eh?

Nintendo seems a bit hesitant to bring that franchise back.

The fact that the Blue Falcon vehicle, and there was an F-zero track in thee first batch of DLC for mariokartb 8 gives me a little bit of hope.

Finally stop playing Morrowind and move on to Oblivion.
At this rate I will never get to play Skyrim.

Hmm, I'm kind of over collecting, accumulating stuff I won't use. I will get Zelda MM for 3DS of course :) Other than that I have donated most of what was left of my collection to a local tech museum.
My main goal is to do some game and retro related art :)

I will add an edit in terms of games 'collecting' I will keep the eyes open for a decent mame machine.
