It 9s god, there's been posts about it earlier in the thread, with at least one owner recommending it. So cheap, I'm on the verge.

I don't think I could bring myself to buy a wikipad.

It. Looks. Soooo. Ugly.

That didn't stop anyone buying a NES, US SNES, N64 or X-Box.

I like that the controls are removable, since a tablet that size will just fit in a good sized pocket. An optional extra that you know will work, unlike the various bleutooth pads.

Oh
I didnt read that before. I think I will pop into GAME on my way home and see if they have any in stock. Gotta be worth a pop for 2£ as I'm still storing my JXD in it's original box.

Fair point. I'm kinda anal about spending money on stuff thats ugly. If I'm gonna spend money on something it might as well look good.

That said was the N64 really ugly? Do most people think this? I thought the design was good

Gman, if no stock locally, they have some stock on their website - I ordered a couple last night - bargain at £2.....

thank you for the advice. Is it surprising that there is no dedicated case for the JXD 7800b?

Hi Antiriad, I can confirm it works really well and docks / undocks easily and securely - although tbh I leave it docked most of the time to play emulators (I do most of my browsing on my 8" Samsung note). I've just ordered a 2nd wikipad for my brother from ebuyer now that they've reduced it again to £60 (even if they do charge £8 to deliver to Inverness!! Free mainland UK delivery my a*se)

My local GAME had 8 of those cases in stock. I got two. Happy days. :D

I popped into Game at lunchtime today and managed to pick up a couple of cases. One for the JXD and one to keep my Wii U tablet clean. Many thanks to zaphod79 who originally mentioned the case.

This may not be the best place to ask this, what games does everyone think work well on this system? At the moment I'm just dipping in & out of various games. As I use it during my lunch hour I'm leaning more towards arcade type experiences, (quick pick-up-&-play-titles) maybe some PS1 or N64. But I want to stay away from the obvious (Ridge Racer, Tekken & the like). Has anyone found any favourites that suit the system perfectly? It doesn't have to be PS1, can be any system really!

Thanks for the advice on Reicast chaps, I'll prob be ti nkering tomorrow eve so will try and get it going.

Thanks for the links Zaphod, good stuff, will get a case as I too am storing it in its box.

That Wikipad looks good at that price, tempting, but don't think I can justify another tablet.. :)

Am enjoying PS1 stuff on it atm. It works really well, playing Crash Bandicoot on it and also on the PS1 at home.. :)

Be interesting to see what you think Daz.

Cheers
