Anyone have any experience with the Atari Flashback 4?

Post by skylarking » Mon Dec 01, 2014 8:42 am

I picked up a second hand one and it works fine when I use original wired joysticks and paddles, but I can't seem to get the bundled wireless joysticks to work at all. Is this a common problem?

I've got the Flashback 3, and the bundled joysticks work fine with that... Could be a batch problem? Or maybe they broke, and that's why it was sold on in the first place?

Not had any problems so far. I'm now expecting them to be knackered when I get home!

Yes, a lot of people have reported problems with the wireless ones as far as needing to be exactly lined up with them to work. They're very cheap IR.

It's one of the reasons we didn't want to go that route when we created the Flashback line.
