A valid question but not as valid as Antiriad's

Nope, of course not. Unless you are stupid enough to believe all the nonsense stories about me that have been debunked a million times.

I think it's quite sad that this thread has turned into one about me, rather than homebrew. I will never ever understand why certain people in this community are so obsessed with me, it's actually quite disturbing.

Not sure what The Laird is supposed to have done, but he was heavily involved in RVG - so why wouldn't he have had a large amount of input in that link? Maybe it's time to let this 'satanic history' go and be more constructive on the current topic?

To get the thread back on topic I would like to see a Spectrum homebrew game about home brewing. It could be a JSW type platform explore-em-up in which the lead character has to traverse many different shops to pick up all the kit he needs for his home brewing set up. He would have to find Yeast, demi johns, empty bottles and label makers etc. The game could be called Home Brew and the completion screen could see our hero sitting on his bedroom floor surrounded by home brewing paraphanalia getting sozzled on big jugs of home brew.
Alternatively, how about a more serious icon driven adventure along the lines of Zoids or Master of Magic about the whole process of home brewing from its inception to the lovely finished product... homebrew.

Well that all went a bit odd, not sure what that was all about, I'd imagine better off not knowing.

Anyway, there is actually a homebrew homebrew game http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseek ... id=0023797

Putting the gaming on the back burner for a couple of weeks as I've get exams coming up (I'm nearly 40 ffs, how come I'm doing exams) but I'm gonna have a massive speccy homebrew session to reward myself when they're done.

I just want to be clear that The Laird did indeed help make RVG what it is today and for that i will always be grateful.

Back on track though.. the Horace Cousins game was found to have a bug so make sure you download it again.

I can only assume you're referring to Laird... if not your post makes no sense.
Just so we're clear I have neither mentioned nor referenced Laird in this thread until this post.
All i did was attempt to get the thread back on track with a bit of silliness that turned out to be real.

I can't even begin to express how much I appreciate that people are still talking about Dingo. Perhaps it's not the perfect game but for a first game in assembler I think it's pretty good and I'm very proud of what me and Mark made.

Everyone does puzzle games or platformers. I'd love to do a new game that's along the lines of 'Tir Na Nog' / 'Avalon'.
I've just started on a game like that for Windows/Osx but if I haven't already scared you away the last time I'd definitely be interested in trying to do this of the Speccy too. ;)

Wait, what? That was your FIRST!

Are you going to do a Knight Lore on us next and rock the foundations of Speccy gaming?

Haha, yes it actually was...but no - nothing as amazing as KN will be coming (any time soon anyway).

The next one coming is a Cybernoid type game. Got plans after that too, but currently working on some non-Speccy projects so it'll probably be a while.

^ That does look pretty great for a ZX game. Very colorful and large sprites.
