Glad to see another Mr Do! vote..

Anyway:

Mr Do!
Centipede
Asteroids
Gorf
Pacman
Pole Position
Tempest
Double Dragon
Scramble
Mooncresta

Those were all around during a fantastic gaming time in my life, arcades were dark, mysterious and I was just about old enough to sneak in...brilliant.

(Re-Updated) RG's ULTIMATE Arcade Centre. But 10 machines only.

Thus far, we have by way of voter popularity (hydraulics on machines whenever possible) :

1. Outrun
2. Star Wars
3. Bubble Bobble
4. Space Harrier
5. Final Fight
6. Gauntlet/Moon Cresta**
7. Pacman
8. Mr Do!*
9. Operation Wolf
10. Donkey Kong

*with update took the place of Galaga
**equal votes

Would have to be mainly games that because of the controls/cabinet aren't properly emulatable.

So:

Battlezone
Star Wars sit-down
Operation Wolf
Outrun 2 SP
Punch Out!!
Space Harrier
R360
Hang On
Mad Dog McCree
720 degrees

Btw anyone remember Hang-On from the arcade? The big red bike version, where you had to 'lean' the bike left and right, just like the real thing. Seem to remember as a 12-13 year old the machine was too big for me. Is that my mind playing tricks with me , or was it really an adult-only game?

With the Hang on bike I don't think you were really supposed to have your feet on the ground, you were supposed to sit on the bike with your feet on the pegs and lean. The machine wasn't particularly heavy so kids could definitely play it. Having said that, it was far easier if you could plant your feet either side of the bike and pull it left and right, so height was an advantage,

Thanks. Yeah , it was intimidating for a kid, so always opted for the easier sit-in Outrun. The odd-looking smaller white Super Hang-OIn bike was easier to use, as was the ace wheelie-pulling Enduro Racer (which almost made it onto my list).

I want to go to r0jaws' arcade!

Though maybe I could convince him to swap Final Fight for Simpsons or Turtles.....or squeeze Chase HQ in somewhere.

Are you only allowed ten machines?

In no particular order,

1. Star Wars sit down
2. outrun
3. Scramble
4. Terra Cresta
5. Defender
6. Robotron 2084
7. Battlezone.
8. Ghosts n Goblins.
9. Q*Bert
10. Qix

I would need a few reserve machines, just in case of damages

Uni Wars, Turbo, TX1, Ms Pacman, Pacman Jnr, Pepper II, Berzerk, Phoenix, Donkey Kong, Space Fury, Time Pilot.
