Just listened to 6 videos back to back......bringing back lots of 80's music memories :D

I think I might be watching the rest tonight whilst finishing off the wine (ahem)!
Awesome! Really glad you like them :D

Full agreement with Gren here in doing some rare housework today and have Lairds channel on instead of the radio.

Tetris on Gameboy,
The underground music on Super Mario Bros on the NES,
Arkanoid by Martin Galway on the C64, (Combat School too), plus Ben Dalgleish, Rob Hubbard, e.t.c
Lots of themes from Street Fighter II & various sequels & spinoffs, (not so much MvC2 & SFIII 3rd Strike),
Wonderboy, R-Type, OutRun, Shinobi & plenty of other arcade games,
And not music, but still essential parts of the soundtrack, i'm still obsessed with early speech synthesis in arcade & pinball games, Berzerk, Gorf, Gorgar, Wizard Of Wor, Stratavox, Astro Blaster, Star Trek (I think), still amazed by those sounds all these years later.
Plus you can't beat those iconic sounds from Space Invaders, Pacman, Galaga, Track & Field, e.t.c.
As far as a complete soundtrack though, my memory isn't so good, but Sonic CD & Final Fight CD on the Mega CD spring to mind.
Some incredible soundtracks on some PC Engine CD games too.

The GTA V score is brilliant - not the radio tunes, the actual score. Tangerine Dream, DJ Shadow and Woody Thingy-wot-did-Read-Dead-Redemption.

I really like the score to Assassin's Creed 2 too.

Tetris on GameBoy was FANTASTIC :) loved it. Shame the NES version didn't have all of the same tunes.

Mega Man 2 is also another favourite of mine on the NES.

I know this will rile some people but I also quite like the cheesey Japanese Techno that Ridge Racer and Ridge Racer Revolution both have :)

Thanks for the links young master Laird, I love the Activision promo you posted and I forwarded it onto my Twitter. I've got 4 or 5 followers so hold onto your hat, it might go viral...
On the subject of game soundtracks I've downloaded the Elite Dangerous soundtrack and I'm quite enjoying the frameshift suites, absolutely gorgeous.
